BOSA CREDIT AND SME SUPERVISOR.
The BOSA CREDIT AND SME Supervisor oversees the technical area of small and medium enterprise credit, including supervision and monitoring of BOSA CREDIT AND SME direct lending and loan guaranty programs managed by the department, as well as contributing to strategic planning, new product development, knowledge sharing, and business innovation to expand access to financial services.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES.
1. Development and Implementation of the BOSA CREDIT AND SME business strategy in line with the Sacco ‘s overall strategy and business growth plan.
2. Driving sales through effective leadership, guidance and performance management process within the branch network and relationships.
3. Working directly with Branches and BOSA CREDIT AND SME officers to ensure efficient disbursement of loans and ensuring timely repayments of the same.
4. Managing portfolio at risk.
5. Identification and capitalizing on new market opportunities to expand presence, competitiveness and profitability through proactively selling of products and services.
6. Improving the business environment and raising the profile for the BOSA CREDIT AND SME business segment in the Sacco.
7. Advise the Sacco on BOSA CREDIT AND SME market analysis and segmentation with regards to BOSA CREDIT AND SME financial products, BOSA CREDIT AND SME credit Risk evaluation processes, loan monitoring, collections and debt recovery procedures.
8. In liaison with other stakeholders, ensure quality portfolio by effective identification of risks and their mitigations.
9. Any other duties that may be assigned by the CEO.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
1) A minimum grade of C+ (plus) in KCSE.
2) An undergraduate Bachelor’s degree/ Diploma in Business related courses from a recognized institution.
3) Knowledge in Sales and Marketing, credit risk management, credit lending will be an added advantage.
4) At least 3 years’ experience in the financial sector with proven and demonstrable ability to grow BOSA CREDIT AND SME business.
5) Proficiency in computers is mandatory.
6) Ability to analyze and interpret financial statements.
7) Clear understanding of microfinance/banking industry is an added advantage.
8) Good interpersonal & communication skills with excellent customer service.
9) A team player with the drive to improve performance.
10) Persuasive with strong recognition skills, Self-driven and possess the ability to work with minimum supervision
11) Ability to work independently under minimum supervision.
12) Strong Christian values, commitment and passion for the transformation of the population.
13) Aged between 26 to 35 years.

CREDIT OFFICER
Responsible for marketing Saccos’ products and services, SMEs and Institutions to recruit and intake of new customers, processing and disbursement of loans and ensure timely collection of the same to ensure healthy portfolio and happy satisfied customers.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. To champion for both credit and smes product in the Branches.
2. Prospect new clients and assist in loan application.
3. Conduct and ensure proper loan appraisals to be measured by approval success rate.
4. Prepare and execute loan contracts and arrange for disbursement of loans.
5. Ensure client retention through excellent customer service and maintain a good relationship with existing SME customers.
6. Engage in proper Know Your Customer (KYC) Vetting of clients using supporting documents and SME appraisal tools.
7. Compliance to audit standards and company policies and procedures.
8. Ensure periodic training is carried out at the branch to enhance awareness and cross selling.
9. Ensure timely loan repayments through aggressive follow ups.
10. Delinquency and default management actions as per credit policy.
11. Mobilize deposits in line with branch targets.

MARKETING / CUSTOMER CARE OFFICER
Overseeing membership growth, assets and liabilities growth and products uptake of the society
Job Description
a) Establish and implement all marketing and business growth strategies.
b) Oversee current offerings and come up with initiatives for new products or services.
c) Research and analyze market trends, demographics, pricing schedules, competitor products, and other relevant information to form marketing strategies.
d) Sell and market all SACCO products and prospect for new business.
e) Prepare presentations for prospective customers when recruiting new members to the SACCO.
f) Coach, train and supervise the Sales Representative to ensure marketing targets are met.
g) Collection of competitor’s intelligence and reporting of the same to CEO.
h) Keep in safe custody all marketing materials i.e., Brochures, banners, tapes, etc.
i) Participate in trade fairs, marketing promotions, road shows and any other publicity campaign as may be assigned and providing reports on the same.
j) Liaison office in charge of ensuring that information is disseminated to members on time and accurately.
k) Carry out customer surveys and ensure customer service is up to standard.
l) Member education – pass SACCO information to the customers on any new policies that may implemented.
m) Visit clients to get complaints/comments and handling complaints at the field level.
n) Track all marketing and sales data and create detailed written reports and verbal presentations to bring to the CEO and Board.
o) Organize CSR activities for the SACCO.
p) Any other duty as directed by the CEO.
Necessary Qualifications and Skills:

Qualifications:
a) Bachelor’s Degree in Business preferably in Marketing or a higher Diploma in Sales and Marketing.
b) An understanding of loans performance metrics/indicators and the ability to interpret and process operations data.
c) Valid certificate of good conduct.

Experience:
